Our General Undertaking is to despatch all orders received through our website, within a 10 working-day period once the order has been received and payment information supplied has been verified.
Once an order has been received, an automated email Order Confirmation will be sent to the email address provided, confirming all aspects of the order. A second email will be sent by a member of our team once the order has begun to be processed.
A final email will be sent when the order has been despatched, this email will also contain the relevant tracking number.
For all orders that have been selected for delivery to the cient, the website will calculate the delivery charges automatically in the shopping cart once the relevant delivery country has been selected from the drop-down menu. Once selected, the delivery charge will be displayed for your country. For a breakdown of the delivery charges and how they are calculated, a link 'VIEW OUR DELIVERY CHARGES' will be displayed once you proceed to Checkout.
In the event of orders placed on our website for delivery to what are deemed by international delivery companies to be 'REMOTE AREAS', Paper Assist reserves the right to contact the customer to request payment for the extra delivery cost involved which will be a minimum of £21.35 excl VAT. If the customer is not agreeable to this additional charge, Paper Assist reserves the right to offer a full refund to the customer for the amount already paid and not to proceed further with the order.
If samples are ordered through the website, these will be shipped by DPD Parcels.
Orders for items Ex-Stock
In the majority of cases, orders received for general stock items will be despatched within 2-3 working days. In the Republic of Ireland, Northern Ireland and the UK, these orders will generally be delivered via DPD parcels or another nominated delivery service of our choice. All other International orders will be delivered by UPS.
DPD Parcels work on a 2 day delivery service once the goods have despatched from our warehouse.
An order for the UK is placed on our website on Monday.
The order is processed and is prepared for despatch on Wednesday.
The UK customer can reasonably expect to receive delivery on Friday.
In the event of any unforeseen delays to the order, the user shall be notified of the delay by email. (Please note that many of our products will have a 2-3 working day despatch lead time.)
Orders for items not held Ex-Stock
When a product has been selected that is not immediately available ex-stock, the website will notify you of each product and the average expected despatch time. Despatch times do not usually exceed 10 working days. The total expected despatch time will be advised to you on the website.
In the event of any unforeseen delays to the order, the client shall be notified of the delay by email.
The lead-times that are displayed are approximations based on the most reasonable assessment of our stock levels at the time of your order. Even though we keep our information as accurate as possible, there may be occasions when an items' stock level may not be adequate to support your order quantity. In this event, you shall be notified of any delay to your order by email or phone as soon as possible, and if you are not satisfied with a new revised expected despatch date, an offer of a full refund will be made to you. If this offer is accepted, the refund will be made to your payment card or PayPal account.
When your order has been despatched, we will advise you by email of the despatch date, the method used and any tracking numbers applicable. At this time the responsibility of the safe delivery of your order falls to our nominated delivery company. Due to unforeseen circumstances, for example weather conditions etc, the expected delivery time of your order may be extended. Once despatched, any request to re-schedule your order must be made with the delivery company directly using the details supplied to you in correspondence emails.
Any time or date for despatch / delivery stated by Paper Assist is an estimate only and Paper Assist shall not accept liability for any loss or damage or any consequential loss arising either directly or indirectly from delays in delivery howsoever caused.
Express Despatch Service
You can now avail of an EXPRESS DESPATCH service whereby your order will DESPATCH same day or latest next working day. (This assumes the order has been placed on a normal working day and within regular working hours)
If EXPRESS DESPATCH is chosen, you will receive an email confirmation from a member of our team confirming the despatch date for your order.
In the event that we are unable to meet the Express Despatch time-frame, we will inform you of that by email and we will refund the additional cost paid for the Express Despatch back to your Card or PayPal account.
The order will then revert to the revised despatch date advised unless you choose instead to cancel your order with us.
Instances of why an Express Despatch may not be possible would include inadequate stock levels at the time of ordering, extremely busy order schedule etc.
